A push in the off-season...

Hello from your friendly neighborhood racer...

Well, lot of people wonder what racers do on the off season.  When I'm not on the track testing, I spend most of my time doing cardio training on my road bike. Putting in the miles and building a strong core and leg strength to help with the forces exerted on a rider on the track.  By building a strong core or mid section, I can transition from left to right faster and smoother with out getting muscle fatigue or loss of energy during a race.  Weight training combined with cardio will help with upper body and arm strength necessary to muscle the bike around and to make to the body a more formidable structure for taking large impacts during a crash.  This constant training gives me a maximum overall cardio and strength stamina necessary to perform at my best on the track, and just like racing... I love to do it!
